The PCF is photographing the nation's oil painting collection and making it accessible through a series of printed catalogues and the Your Paintings website.
The PCF was launched in 2003. It is a registered charity and is based in London. It has a network of researchers and photographers working across the country from the Channel Islands to Northern Ireland.
